Threaditions: the slow stitch way (Ages 18+) In-Person
Start a “threadition” for your family by learning to sew and embroider by hand. Learn some of the stitches and techniques that your grandmothers used to make and decorate useful items like clothes, quilts, and pillowcases. This year-long series will teach the basics of hand applique, hand piecing and hand quilting, as well as hand embroidery through the medium of creating a slow stitch journal - one fabric page for every month of the year. Start a "threadition" and join us the third Saturday each month. Beginners are welcome! Registration is required. For ages 18+.
